This witch hat is made of black felt, (vegan-friendly) it offers a wizarding dark look with a ruched curled cone perfect for either a dressed up or down witch look. Its wide brim has layers of magic stitched together and wired for a ridgid-looking brim and soft feel from the cone. It has a thin strip of leather that crosses in the back offering a natural strong, powerful woodland look. It would be great for a wizard or mage cosplay, ren faire costume, or everyday wear! This hat screams for a powerful wearer, no frills here, it's all business. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination!

The Freya hat offers a larger brim made of three stitched layers of felt and wired to keep out the bugs as you circle above and its shape. The cone is also lined in another layer of felt to help keep its crooked shape, and yet be a comfortable soft fit. The crook is ruched and can be positioned to any angle just by moving it with your hands. Put it to the right...to the back...make it swoop to the left! It's exaggerated and awesome! There is a color option for the slim strip of leather at the base of the cone. You can choose from either a tan or a charcoal color. As I made these hats I played with no stitching at the brim or stitching around the brim. Simply bewitching!
One size fits most. These hats are premade and best fit a 23" noggin. I can not take any custom-size orders.

Sizing details
My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.
Care instructions
I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Custom and personalized orders
I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.
How does the tail attach?
Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.
Will the crowns fit my childs head?
All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!
