They offer an extra large floppy brim (6 inches from ribbon to outer brim) made of three stitched layers of felt: to keep out the bugs as you circle above. The brim is turned up or left down, you decide! The cone is also lined in another layer of felt to help keep its crooked shape, and yet be a comfortable soft fit. There is a lovely cross grain or satin ribbon encircling the crown. Simply bewitching!
There are options for either a short crook to the side or a longer curl that goes towards the back. For your visual reference the side crook is represented in the first studio photo and the longer back curl is in the second. Please note that the back curl hat is sideways in this photo, the curl would go towards the back. Both witch hats are represented on the models; the side crook has the black ribbon and the back curl has the white ribbon.

Witchy activity: Besides casting a spell on your neighbor's dog to stop barking...how about research the origin of the witches hat. I think you will be surprised at what you find. Without giving away the details. Did you know that the witches hat (like the one you see here) is a modern day invention? This hat is one size fits most. It fits children and most adults as felt has some give to it.
Due to the size of these hats they are carefully packaged in order to keep shipping rates down. If it arrives wrinkled we apologize but if you get out your steamer and go to town it will look pretty wicked when you are done!

Sizing details
My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.
Care instructions
I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Custom and personalized orders
I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.
How does the tail attach?
Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.
Will the crowns fit my childs head?
All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!
