Dash the Red Panda Mask and Tail
The red panda could easily be one of the cutest animals on our planet. This is Dash. His copper coat is his signature characteristic. Dash uses his coloring to hide up in the trees which happen to be covered in moss and lichen of the same color. Dash got his name from his love of dashing from branch to branch scaring his parents. He knows all the buttons to push. He also knows that his cute face will get him out of trouble. He has practiced sad panda eyes and if he plays his card right he can get away with anything. This irritates his siblings but he doesn't care.
Dash is only the size of a cat. His tail is bushier than a cats however. He can use it to keep warm and it helps him balance while he jumps around those tree tops. His claim to fame came when Foxfire asked him to pose for their logo. Did you know that foxfire is another name for a red panda? Dash did. Another reason his siblings are irritated by his mug.
This red panda set includes a mask and tail. This felt mask is adjustable with an elastic allowing It to expand and grow with your panda. The felt is soft on the skin. The tail has a loop to attach to one of your belts and back belt loop. Everyone will find your child adorable in this set...except their siblings. They still think he's irritating. Can't change that I'm afraid.
This mask and tail will provide hours of fun and entertainment while encouraging you little one to use his imagination at the same time.

Sizing details
My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.
Care instructions
I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Custom and personalized orders
I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.
How does the tail attach?
Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.
Will the crowns fit my childs head?
All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!

This is my second year purchasing a Halloween costume from this shop, and the quality (especially for the price) is amazing! My kids love their masks so much, and they live on much longer with all their dress-up play things.
