Captain the Baby Seal Mask
Captain the seal lives on the warm California coast. His cousins live up in the Polar Regions but he just couldn’t store fat like they could. So he packed it up and moved south. It seemed like a wise decision as he was always cold. He is warm blooded after all.
Along his journey he learned a lot. He once found a ball floating out at sea and played with it resting on his nose until a sea gull tried to land on it and popped it. Being a highly intelligent guy he learned to live on his own without his mother to help him along. Once he was weened he left the comfort of home to explore. He loves fish, and has the cutest little winged feet that help him to be an amazing swimmer. He spends only a small fraction of his time out of water to check out the beautiful ladies sunning themselves. California was definitely a good decision.
Captain loves to people watch too. They are so funny staring right back at him. Sometime he falls asleep in the sea and doesn’t even know that he surfaces for air. It’s a cool trick. Maybe someday when will show us how it’s done.
This felt mask is adjustable with an elastic allowing it to expand and grow with your independent and adventurous seal. The felt is soft on the skin.
This mask will provide hours of fun and entertainment while encouraging you little one to use his/her imagination at the same time. Please note this mask is an off white not a pure white.

Sizing details
My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.
Care instructions
I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Custom and personalized orders
I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.
How does the tail attach?
Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.
Will the crowns fit my childs head?
All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!
