Indigo the Blue Macaw
Indigo is a cool cat. BIRD! I mean bird. He has the best personality, kind loving and a friend to all. He also happens to have the heart of Scarlet the Red Macaw. She is constantly in a state of perfection. Okay well maybe not perfect but look at how she throws all the color together and makes it work! Indigo is happy living in tropical South America its the perfect climate to relax. Having Scarlet by his side is the frosting on the cake.
Indigo lives with his partner Scarlet high in the tree tops where they enjoy a life of leisure. They are both in good shape, weighing in at an average 2.2lbs and 3 respectively. They like long flights and keep to a low fat diet. They are hoping to spend the next 70 or so years together nibbling on fruits and yummy seeds. This is the life!
When they do venture out they certainly turn heads. It’s hard to ignore their brightly colored 60 inch wingspan. On a good day and with a bit of a stretch they can reach almost 3 feet long from their head to the tips of their tails.

This felt mask is adjustable with an elastic allowing it to expand and grow with your little bird. The felt is soft on the skin.

Sizing details
My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.
Care instructions
I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Custom and personalized orders
I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.
How does the tail attach?
Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.
Will the crowns fit my childs head?
All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!

Colorful mask which creates good mood! But I wish there was also a choice with yellowish beak.
