This oversized crooked witch hat is made of light grey vegan friendly felt. It offers a classic look with a slight back crook or back curl perfect for either a dressed up or down witch look. Its wide brim has layers of magic stitched together for a floppy, yet rigid look and feel. Offered with black satin cascading down the back or a or graphite satin ribbon, or no decoration so you can dress it up yourself! A magical bride to be? This is a great choice for a themed witch or Halloween ceremony with the xl wide in lieu of a veil. Want to add a flash of color to the rest of your drab black wardrobe? Mix it up with one of these simple yet elegant hats!

They offer an extra large floppy brim (6 inches from ribbon to outer brim) made of three stitched layers of felt: to keep out the bugs as you circle above. The cone is lined in another layer of felt to help keep its crooked shape, and yet be a comfortable soft fit. There is a lovely graphite satin ribbon or black ruched satin encircling the crown. You choose! Simply bewitching!

There are options for either a short crook to the back or a longer curl that goes towards the back. Please note when ordering that the crook is shown with the graphite ribbon and the curl back is with the black cascading ribbon.

This listing is for one hat. One size fits most. The crown is made for a 23" noggin which I find accommodates most of my clients. If you need a smaller (22") or larger (24") crown please shoot me a message. I try to have a few on hand. If I do not I can certainly try to add one into the mix as I stitch.

***Due to the size of these hats they are carefully packaged in order to keep offering FREE shipping. In some cases is up to a $15 savings depending on where you live. If it arrives wrinkled we apologize but if you get out your steamer and go to town it will look pretty wicked when you are done!***

Sizing details

My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.

Care instructions

I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Because I am a one woman working machine I only consider smaller wholesale orders here. Contact me for more information.

Custom and personalized orders

I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.

How does the tail attach?

Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.

Will the crowns fit my childs head?

All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!

I was a little disappointed with the black satin ribbon. It’s not as cute as pictured, just a plain ribbon wrapped around.
