This Welsh-style witch hat is made of black eco-friendly felt. It offers a Celtic witchy look with a rounded cone and short brim. There is a ruched satin band, and a button off center or center front.

The Áine hat offers a narrow brim made of two stitched layers of felt: to keep the moonlight out of your eyes as you work. The cone is lined in another layer of felt to help keep it flexible and be a comfortable soft fit. The cone has two criss-cross seams at the top to give it that rounded look. This hat has a loose wire so you can shape it as you wish. Want it flat...no problem. A bit of a curve like our stunning model? It's all at your fingertips! Simply bewitching!
Please note that I have multiple lovely silver-toned, brass, and black buttons that I used for these hats. You may not necessarily receive the one pictured. All are about 3/4" round, except for the one brass toggle. It is a 3/4" long oval!
This listing is for one hat. One size fits most. It best fits a noggin no larger than 23"!

Sizing details
My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.
Care instructions
I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Custom and personalized orders
I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.
How does the tail attach?
Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.
Will the crowns fit my childs head?
All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!

I have worn this hat to a few Halloween events already and it is wonderful. It is well-made and is holding up nicely. I love that it has a unique look compared to other hats I have seen.

A beautiful witch hat - I bought it as a gift but was so tempted to keep it for myself! I loved the pretty packaging and it arrived much faster than I thought it would. Highly recommend this shop and I will be back for my own witchy adornment!

It is very cute and well made, it is a little small for my head (i usually wear larger hats) but not unusable. It is also going to be an adorable halloween decoration when it's not being worn
