This Yule hat is made from my Gretta pattern with a minor tweak of the cone. It has a couple of tucks on the cone, a small crook to the side and a pin at the side made of a red satin bow, holiday greenery, and a couple of old bells. Take the bow off for a perfect witch hat at Halloween!
She has thin gold trim at the base of her cone and will best fit a 23" noggin.

They offer an extra large floppy brim (6 inches from ribbon to outer brim) made of three stitched layers of felt: to keep out the bugs as you circle above. The cone is also lined in another layer of felt to help keep its crooked shape, and yet be a comfortable soft fit. There is lovely gold trim encircling the crown. Simply bewitching!

Due to the size of these hats they are carefully packaged in order to keep shipping rates down. If it arrives wrinkled we apologize but if you get out your steamer and go to town it will look pretty wicked when you are done!

Sizing details
My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.
Care instructions
I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Custom and personalized orders
I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.
How does the tail attach?
Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.
Will the crowns fit my childs head?
All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!
