Look what those clever fairies have left on my doorstep today! Something for those who celebrate St. Lucia's Day. The fairies have collected up all the Lingonberry leaves from the forest and created lovely little crowns for little girls celebrating St. Lucia's Day. No two are the same. They have been painstakingly created from fresh branches, leaves and a few red berries. The candles have been lit and are aglow with warmth. Each is just as lovely as the next and infused with love and a little bit of faerie magic!

This crown is the perfect headpiece for the little St. Lucia helper who needs both hands free to bring food and other items to those in need. (As the story goes St. Lucia wore the candles to light the way under the catacombs of Rome as she delivered necessities to persecuted Christians in hiding there.) Let St. Lucia's holiday spirit of giving take over and help to spread the joy and light of the season.

Adorn her head with this Lingonberry leaf crown for they symbolize new life in winter. The faerie folk took extra time making it and even pre-lit the 5 candles on the head piece. The back is adjustable with a cross grain ribbon for tying into a big bow making it easy to wear. Complete the outfit with a white dress and red sash.

This year I am offering red, burgundy, green and white ribbon. Each side has 18 inches for a nice bow in the back.

This crown will provide hours of fun and entertainment while encouraging you little one to use her imagination at the same time.

Shipping times have been cut in order to reach you by St. Lucia on the 13th. Each leaf/berry is cut individually and attached one at a time. These take some serious time to cut and assemble.

Sizing details

My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.

Care instructions

I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Because I am a one woman working machine I only consider smaller wholesale orders here. Contact me for more information.

Custom and personalized orders

I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.

How does the tail attach?

Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.

Will the crowns fit my childs head?

All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!

This wreath crown is well made! My daughter used it on her Feast Day to deliver treat boxes around town (adorned with a St. Lucy prayer). It was a hit! The materials are light enough my 5 year old was comfortable!
