This is Truro named after his favorite summer vacation spot. We have something in common! Truro loves to swim up and down the beaches searching for his favorite meal...seal. Truro has been known to jump right out of water to catch one too! Sharks have an amazing sense of hearing, if there is a seal up to 3,000 feet away they know it! So eyes up when you see those seals on the beaches! Shark attacks are extremely rare but its better to play it safe...especially since they were spotted there last week!
Fun factoid? Sharks can't swim backwards like other fish because their made of cartilage not bone. They also have up to 7 rows of teeth. Each row can have up to 40 teeth. I want to know who has gotten close enough to count this! Their dentist bill must be huge! Imagine if they needed braces?!?
Truro who is a Great white shark himself can go as long as 3 months without eating. I have a hard time thinking that there were no snacks between meals. Just sayin. Sounds fishy to me.
This felt mask is adjustable with an elastic allowing It to expand and grow with your little shark. I am pairing it up with either a dorsal fin or a shark tail. There is an option to choose which you would like at checkout. Tail attaches with a tab that a belt or sash can be threaded thru at the back of a pair of pants. The fin has elastic straps that go around the arms/shoulders. This mask will provide hours of fun and entertainment while encouraging you little one to use his imagination at the same time.

Sizing details
My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.
Care instructions
I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Custom and personalized orders
I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.
How does the tail attach?
Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.
Will the crowns fit my childs head?
All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!
