Joey the Kangaroo Felt mask
Joey is our friendly neighborhood kangaroo. He's laid back. Nothing bothers him. During the day he works as a bank executive...doesn't look the role does he? Agreed! But we all have to make a living. He pretty much does it for his wife who is expecting a babe any day now. Her pouch is just about to burst! In the evenings he volunteers at a gym teaching other little Joey's how to box. Those little arms are strong! On weekends he teaches a kick boxing class that is always full.
He originally wanted to be a professional boxer until he met Joanne. He knew right away she was THE ONE. So he hung up his gloves and entered the world of white collar humdrum. He lives for weekends! In about 3 months is little joey will climb out of his wife's pouch, they are thinking of names now. Its between Josaphina or Johanna right now. Wish him luck!
This felt mask is adjustable with a elastic at the back so it will grow with your kangaroo. The felt is soft on the skin and can also be worn on the forehead with the same effect. This mask will provide hours of fun and entertainment while encouraging you little one to use his/her imagination at the same time.
Costume Idea: Pair this mask up with a tan or brown hoodie, that front pocket makes a great pouch! Don a pair of boxing gloves and you are now Joey!

Sizing details
My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.
Care instructions
I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Custom and personalized orders
I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.
How does the tail attach?
Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.
Will the crowns fit my childs head?
All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!

A fantastic mask. Fits well and is soft on the face. It’s to surprise a friend in France when we visit who always refers to me as ‘La kangourou’. Expect a lot of laughs when we arrive!
