Isily the Coyote Mask and Tail Costume

You may already know Isily. That one wild child howling in the backyard sending your neighbors to their windows. Isily is often in trouble, running around the neighborhood up to no good. He is a kind yet reckless child. His idea of fun is chasing the cat up the tree, forgetting that the week before the fire department had to be called to rescue the same cat from starvation...stuck up the same tree. He means no harm but still has to learn about consequences. Its a struggle that will continue for a while.

Isily has a ton of friends and they can be found late at night all chasing each other, howling and hooting til it wakes the baby. He runs free and does what he wants. Lucky little dude until he takes it too far. Once he thought it would be fun to round up all the small animals on his street and hold them for ransom. Big big consequences then. Turns out his father is the town sheriff. So Isily is now doing the looking out his own bedroom widow as his friends run around wild outside. He has a few weeks to think about taking things that are not his. This consequence thing may soon sink in!

This felt mask is adjustable with a elastic at the back so it will grow with your wild coyote. The tail features a tab that can be attached with a belt threaded thru a pair of pants. The felt is soft on the skin and can also be worn on the forehead with the same effect. This mask will provide hours of fun and entertainment while encouraging you little one to use his/her imagination at the same time.

Sizing details

My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.

Care instructions

I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Because I am a one woman working machine I only consider smaller wholesale orders here. Contact me for more information.

Custom and personalized orders

I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.

How does the tail attach?

Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.

Will the crowns fit my childs head?

All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!
