Lynx the Bobcat mask and tail for costume or pretend play

This fellow is all about play time. Lynx can be found at any time of the day playing in the yard. Sometimes he waits at the bird feeders and tries to play with them. So far he has yet to make friends with those he catches. Most of the time they peck at his nose and off they go! He is a pretty stealthy hunter and the whole world is his prey. Ah the life of a wild cat!

Lynx does not like to cuddle. Lynx does not come home at night. He is one burly kinda cat, self sufficient and stubborn. He is all about the wildlife. Literally. He hunts like the world is running out of animals. Why the other day I watched him play with a squirrel's tail who could not climb any higher. Lynx let him go of course, he is all about the Vegan life. Which is kinda crazy for a cat. Its not up to me to question how he lives his life as long as he gets his chores done.

Lynx loves exploring, meeting new playmates, cleaning his room (even though he prefers to sleep under the stars) and whining. The latter is an issue that all parents can understand.

This felt mask is adjustable with a elastic at the back so it will grow with your bobcat. The tail features a tab that can be attached with a belt threaded thru a pair of pants. The felt is soft on the skin and can also be worn on the forehead with the same effect. This mask will provide hours of fun and entertainment while encouraging you little one to use his/her imagination at the same time.

Sizing details

My masks fit children and adults alike. I use a base pattern with a set eye size and spacing. The elastic at the back is approximately 12 inches long for all masks. This is for a fit on different faces, it may be big on a smaller tike or tighter on an adult head. Therefor I consider it one size fits most. The outline of the piece does vary slightly depending on the animal. For instance the fox has whiskers so it's a bit wider than the chicken because it's shape is more rounded. Please refer to photos, no photos available? Send me a convo and I'm happy to help. My pieces are designed for fun and function. Most masks have 2-4 layers of fabric. There are times when all those layers won't work with a design and a single layer will be used.

Care instructions

I use Eco-fi felt that is a material made from recycled plastics. It's surprisingly soft and cleans up well with some mild soap and water.

Custom and personalized orders

I rarely take on custom orders because it is not cost effective for me. I cut and sew in bulk for my pieces. However if you would like something like a larger elastic or a ribbon instead of the elastic I use than I am happy to accommodate for this type of change.

How does the tail attach?

Each tail has a tab that fits around a pant loop. A belt or sash is then threaded through the normal loops of the pants and it secures the tail into place. Its a two part system for security and allows for fun movement.

Will the crowns fit my childs head?

All of the crown headpieces can be customized to fit your child's head...just put your child's head measurement in the notes section of your order (in inches please!) and I'll make sure its a nice custom fit! For accurate measuring use a tape measure or a string (compare against a ruler when you are done) going around the crown of your child's head where a baseball hat would lay. Viola!
